Privacy Policy

What Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is Collected From Me?

American National collects information in several ways from different parts of the Website. Some personal information is gathered at the time you register or are registered. During registration, American National may require a unique username, private password, and a valid email address. We may also ask you to voluntarily provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, and experience with the services we provide, and contact preferences. Wherever American National collects PII (as defined in the section titled “California Do Not Track Disclosures” below) or other personal information, we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

The server(s) for the Website will store user log info that includes IP address and some browser string info, and the Website uses Google Analytics to collect traffic, browser and device info. There is also a contact page on the Website, and any PII that a user inputs on the contact page will be used by American National as described in the Privacy Policy section.

Cookies and Other Technologies

American National may place Internet cookies on your hard drive. Internet cookies are small files that may be placed on your hard disk for record-keeping purposes. Cookies are used to (a) remind us of who you are in order to deliver you better service; (b) estimate our audience size by determining repeat usage of the American National Website to help target advertisements based on user interests and behavior; (c) track your progress and entries in promotions, sweepstakes, and contests; and (d) measure certain traffic patterns for use as a research tool to understand how our users’ habits are similar or different from one another. California Do Not Track Disclosures

Promotions or contests that run on American National may be sponsored by companies other than American National or may be co-sponsored by American National and another company.
